Inventions and Creations: Richard was asked to partner with John Houston (deceased) to help develop John's Heavy Duty Bath Seat Lift. This project has been developed into an effective prototype featuring stainless steel design and powered by rechargeable batteries. Richard and John's wife, Beverly Houston, are looking for a marketing agent to help them to provide help and support to the thousands of individuals that would enjoy privacy while doing their bathroom activities and those other thousands of health care providers that strain their backs in lifting heavy patients from the bath seats.

Richard's own creations include among many other projects, a fishing rod holder to safely and securely hold fishing rods in the ceiling of a pickup topper. This basic design for the rod holder is very effective in securely holding an unattended rod on a lake or river bank or wooden fishing dock. The design accomodates either a spinning or casting rod.

Marvin Frankamp

Charlie is retired from OXYCHEM. He has a BS degree in Organizational Management and Leadership and is working on a Masters in Business Law at Friends University.

Steve Basic
Steve holds a MS degree in Aerospace Engineering from a reputable European University. He worked as a stress engineer for the British and American aerospace industries.  Steve Basic profile.

Inventions and Creations: Steven has invented and patented the 'water-glycol filled fresnel lens', a solar power concentrator, lighter when filled, relative to conventional designs. This development accelerated the designs of the new power pla ts and green houses. He is the published author of two books registered at the USA Library of Congress, "Unified Theory", that unifies the following two fundamental theories: the first is the historic 'Theory of Relativity of Professor Albert Einstein' and the second is contempory "Quantum Theory" of professor Max Plank. The second registered book is the "Space Energy, Vol. 1, Feasibility Study".   Some recent works:  "Some remarks concerning a continuous fusion within the Sun and the surface gravities of Planets in light of the Unified Theory"  by Steve Basic;  RADIANT ENERGY ; GEOTHERMAL POWER.

 Frank is a consultant at WSU with the Small Business Development Center. His vast experience in the different facets of the Small Business helps him to give good solid advice to the aspiring inventor. Frank is a frequent guest speaker at our member meetings. 

Paul H. Counts
Paul is a retired farmer and former hospital aide. He is presently residing in the Haysville Healthcare Center at 215 N. Lamar Ave, Haysville, KS 67060-1266, phone: (316) 524-3211. With time on his hands, he has invented several items for automobiles and small engines, designed to increase gas mileage and reduce emissions. Being confined to a wheelchair, he is willing to work with someone to develop his ideas and share in the profits.

Mike has 2 years of College after AirForce. Beech Aircraft expediter (1 yr), Plumber and Sewer Cleaner, 30 years.

Inventions and Creations: Mike has invented a foam generator for root retardant chemicals to coat 360 deg. of sewerline. Information is available, proprietary info to license or participation. (now in public domain) Advances not yet patented.

Merrie is an Administrative Assistant in the payroll department for the Wichita Public School District.

Inventions and Creations:  Invented the Noz Pax/ Noz Aid--a product with two purposes.  Noz Pax is to contain and stop nose bleeds.  Noz Aid is a pre-lubricated/medicated pack for relief of dry nostrils and for distribution of medications.  I am trying to bring both products to market.  Click for Power Point presentation.

Ken has worked with Willy Kilmer in developing and testing a quick and dependable fencing system registered as "Willy Wire". Both men are still actively engaged in Management Intensive Grazing (MIG), design and layout of systems to facilitate MIG; sales of products to make those systems work; and installation of same systems. John Mahan
John is a retired Professional Engineer, with Master of Science from Michigan University.  He has taught Manufacturing Design at the General Motors Institute among other things.  He has a an inventive mind and has come up with many innovations including 3 dimensional impossible puzzles, cereal bowls that keep the cereal crispy, a dairy harvester vehicle and drafting aids among other ideas.  He has envisioned a new source/process for hydrogen with great potential.  He also developed a power point presentation on advantageous use of peoples' talents of which they may not be aware.

Mario Schiaffino
Mario has invented a device that will make it easier to replace, install and exchange light fixtures and ceiling fans over the entire house and will also make it more convenient to replace those heavy mercury lights in warehouses, stadiums and big arenas and not only that but this could open a brand new market for people that rent because they will be able to buy a ceiling fan, chandelier and take it with them when they decide to move with out having to  contract an electrician or asking the landlord.  My future view of this device is that any new house will have it installed in the ceiling and every retailer will sell the light fixture and appliances with the plug already in it.
